THE VERY MOMENT

THE VERY MOMENT, the new dance piece by choreographer Anna Konjetzky, brings the fragile and inefficient body to the stage and questions the social interaction with it. As in a game, five dancers compete against each other. They test their limits, work against cramping muscles, deal with balance loss, get out of step, fall, give up and start again. Inspired by youtube videos showing supportive people - from staggering drunk to dejected marathoners - the ensemble solves crashes from their contexts and analyzes and comments on their physical trajectories.

Premiered 20th December 2018 Munich Kammerspiele. 

Further performances 21st, 22nd June 201,9 Argekulture, Salzburg.
