THE DUAL EXISTENCE OF TIME

Anything Is Valid Dance Theatre

The Dual Existence of Time uses three locations in the building to investigate the potential dualities of the experience of time. Combing text, music and movement this work looks at how one moment in time although shared, can have multiple, very separate, individual qualities that may seem contradictory but in fact exist simultaneously within each individual.

In May 2014, Anything Is Valid Dance Theatre participated in Springhouse, Dresden, Germany. Selected as one of 20 international artists, AIVDT were resident in a working office building in the Neustadt district, living and working in the building alongside their regular business tenents. As a result of this residency, they presented The Dual Existence of Time, a promenade performance throughout the building as part of the public festival from May 23-25.
